Job Description

Job Summary  
As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients in hospice settings. Your role involves delivering specialized medical care and emotional support to patients and their families during this sensitive time.

Responsibilities  
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers  
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans  
- Provide pain management and symptom control interventions  
- Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families  
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care options  
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation  
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient well-being

Qualifications  
- Experience in patient care, preferably in hospice or palliative medicine  
- Proficiency in medication administration and symptom management  
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems  
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions  
- Ability to work in a challenging environment with empathy and compassion  
- Familiarity with health coaching principles is a plus  
- Previous experience in a medical office or Level II Trauma Center is advantageous

Pay: $100.00 - $300.00 per hour
