 SUMMARY


Planning & Analytics is one of the fastest growing areas and this role requires using innovation and state-of-the-art software to help customers deploy cloud-based solutions. As we are strengthening our team in this exciting growth area, we are looking for a consultant who can bring an entrepreneur mindset and help our customers on their journey of innovation and digital transformation.


As a consultant in the Analytics & Insight Services team you will be responsible for the delivery of Analytics, Planning and Data Management solutions based on SAP’s Business Technology Platform.

 EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS


In this role, you will work directly with Line of Business, Industry and Technology experts to translate our customers business needs into outcome-based analytics solutions. The role will involve both functional and technical expertise to develop data & analytics skills to best address our customers needs.

* Bring strong thought-leadership and cloud mindset with clear understanding of cloud concepts and cloud architecture to help SAP customers on their journey to the cloud.
* Articulate and lead analytics business use case discovery working with business users at all levels
* Participate in the design, build and deployment of analytics and data management solutions for SAP customers
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of SAP Solutions for Data & Analytics
* Lead by example and coach others in the team
* Work towards achieving a strong customer C-level relationship on strategic accounts and become a trusted advisor
* Contribute to solution knowledge base with specific areas of expertise, develop and document enterprise knowledge in the form of technical articles, and best practices
* Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focused, self-starter
* Willingness to participate in sales process, if needed, as a subject matter expert

 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

* Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management, or related fields

 PERSONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

* Proficient in SAP Analytics Cloud planning, modelling and creating visual stories.
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
* Functional knowledge about financial and operational planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Understanding of SAP HANA or SAP BW system environments is beneficial.
* Good knowledge of SQL and related programming languages.
* Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
* Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary.
* Familiarity with EPM, SAP BPC, and SAP Analysis for Office is beneficial.
* Willingness and ability to learn quickly new cloud-based solutions for Data & Analytics, but also eager to stay on top of technology innovations and to continuously learn
* Data science related skills like Machine Learning to drive predictive planning scenarios are a plus

 CUSTOMER FACING SKILLS

* Excellent interpersonal, strong verbal and written communication and solid presentation skills
* Ability to inspire confidence and work with all levels of client and internal staff. Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations to non-technical audience.
* Ability to present complex information in a clear and precise manner with non-technical audience
* Ability to capture customer requirements and translate them into software specifications
