Job Description
Lornamead is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team! Lornamead, Inc. manufactures and supplies, hair care, skin care, oral care, and bath products in America. The company offers toothpastes, teeth whitening products and oral analgesics for drug chains, and national food retailers. The company is headquartered in New York, with a manufacturing facility in Tonawanda, New York. Lornamead is a US division of Meiyume who is a global beauty company across major cities across the globe. YOUR CHALLENGE * Lead the Supply Chain team, including purchasing and warehouse, to ensure all business areas and customer needs are sufficiently and effectively resourced. * Active member of the site leadership team. Communicate and collaborate cross-departmentally with Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Customer Service, Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, R&D, etc. * Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand. * Lead negotiations on procurement and supply chain matters with internal associates and external vendors. Prepare and review cost proposals/requests, and negotiation of NDA's. * Oversee internal warehouse and 3rd party logistics provider for external warehouses and freight management. * Ensure commitment levels are managed in line with forecasted sales targets. * Establish professional networks and rapport to facilitate company objectives and customer satisfaction. * Supports proper utilization of ERP system (QAD). * Prepares and reports on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary. * Manage raw material and finished goods stock levels in accordance with budget/forecast sales levels. Communicate to sales any exceptional issues that may impact the monthly sales forecast and profitability levels. * Ensure inventory levels are managed in line with forecasted sales targets. Report any exception costs/activities that may affect budgeted/forecast profit levels. Manage purchase price variances and communicate quarterly. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management. MBA or Master’s Degree in related field preferred. * 10+ years’ experience in purchasing management, sourcing international and domestic vendors, logistics, and inventory control. * Excellent planning and organizational skills * Proficient in ERP or similar such business-wide software systems * A strong understanding of financial management and wider management principles and techniques * Strong personal credibility and the ability to quickly develop a well-disciplined team. * Strong Microsoft Excel skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Employee discount * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
