Drive the success and reputation of New York City Flagship location with the purpose of leading the team of 20 + full-tme and part-time employees through the company values. Lead by example and with the ultimate goal of driving rapid sales growth, world-class merchandising and recruitment of a high performing sales team to drive top line growth.
BE THE ISLAND GUIDE* Provide strategic leadership to retail team, inspire a culture of sales, excellence, teamwork and accountability.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business.
* Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities.
* Ability to work a rotation of weekends, nights, holidays and during peak promotions/high traffic times.
* Ensure every guest interaction reflects the brand’s values and enhances their shopping experience.
* Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and standards.
* Identify operational efficiencies, and streamline processes.
* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes engagement, retention and accountability.
* Partner with Restaurants to ensure each business is leveraging the total brand experience to maximize sales and delight the guest.
* Participate in business financial planning as requested.
* Support the direction of the brand through merchandise assortments appropriate to regional markets and promote the use of Product Knowledge as a tool to enhance employee productivity, sales, and service levels. Be open to providing and accepting feedback.
* Develop strong partnerships with the merchant and visual team.
* Develop and work with Leadership on creating in store promotions and events to increase revenue and guest engagement.
* Manage Guest Relations Concierges.
* Build bench and awareness by frequent exposure to other shops on 5th Avenue and throughout NY.
* Understand trends and be a thought leader who is comfortable making recommendations that are well developed and provide estimated return on investments
* Manage upkeep of physical plant in partnership with construction team and store management.
* Create strong partnership with home office visual team resulting in strong seasonal visual direction.
* Ensure employee appearance appropriately reflects the Tommy Bahama brand image.
* Responsible for embracing, articulating, and reflecting the Tommy Bahama Culture.
* Influence the store teams to embrace, articulate, and reflect the Tommy Bahama values
* Demonstrate the Tommy Bahama Values in all business decisions and actions.
* Commit to maintain the culture through the evolution of the business.
* Stay current on traffic and trends in the New York 5th Ave business district.


ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising or related field.
* 12+ years of retail experience with a minimum of 5+ years in a Senior Leadership Role.
* Ideally, 5th Ave/Midtown retail experience
* Proven track record in increasing traffic, revenue and building business at one or more fashion retail locations.
* Experience developing and managing a budget and P&L.
* Experience coaching and developing a strong sales team.
* Ability to analyze reports, and make recommendations to Sr. Leadership.
* Deep understanding of the NY Retail Marketplace.
* Demonstrated high level of taste with an appropriate fashion sense that represents the high standard for our Tommy Bahama Flagship location.
* Ability to communicate with guests of all kinds.
* Outstanding organizational skills.
* Ability to use tools and technology when managing the location and analyzing the business.
* Ability to multi-task, fill any role necessary, and lead.
* Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings as necessary.


Rate Range: $93,947 to $160,000 annually
