PART-TIME NURSE PRACTITIONER


ADDICTION TREATMENT SERVICES – TALBOT HOUSE - BOHEMIA

CCLI is looking for a *part-time Nurse Practitioner* with a generous heart to work in our Talbot House which is a 24-hour hour residential stabilization center licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction. We are seeking those with a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island.  *Responsibilities:*


* Diagnose and treat patients in accordance with advanced nursing practices and established protocols, writing and/or participating in a plan of care for each individual.
* Order and evaluate appropriate medical regimens including medications and relevant tests.
* Address crises, complete referrals and maintain client records
* Provide support, education and counseling to enable patients to stabilize their illness and prevent future health issues.
* Consult with medical director and professional staff to ensure continuity of care.
* Observe and comply with governing regulations and Agency policies and procedures.
  


*Requirements:*


* MSN with specialization in adult health.
* At least 2 years’ experience providing direct care for adult patients.
* Licensed to practice in New York State as a Nurse Practitioner.
* Eligible for NYS Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

  


*Schedule:* 4 hours – once a week.

  


*Rate of Pay:* $65 per hour.
