Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join Tinystar Learning Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves educating students in various mathematical concepts, preparing them for academic success while also addressing individual learning needs. Duties * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Ontario curriculum standards combined with Singapore Math * Educate students on mathematical concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus. * Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for math. * Utilize various teaching methods, including laboratory activities and tutoring sessions, to enhance student understanding. * Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to promote growth. * Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities. * Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate special education needs and diverse learning styles within the classroom. Skills * Strong knowledge of mathematics and ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. * Experience in classroom management and creating an inclusive learning environment. * Ability to provide one-on-one tutoring support for students needing additional assistance. * *Have previous teaching experience with Math* * Proficient in utilizing laboratory resources for hands-on learning experiences related to mathematics. * Have certificates related to education Join our team as we inspire the next generation of mathematicians!
