Expatiate Communications is a boutique Special Education management firm with unparalleled expertise in special education. We provide innovative solutions for the most challenging and complex special education issues facing school districts, ESAs/COEs, and State educational agencies, providing staff and technology solutions. ### Description The Special Education Specialist (RSP) implements and maintains special education programs and services in conformance to district procedures and state and federal laws; providing written support and/or conveying information; serving as a resource to parents and school personnel, as well as the Board; and maintaining adequate staffing to ensure objectives of programs and services are achieved within budget. * Job Location: Office and Field role in Pasadena CA and Los Angeles CA * Full-Time, $71K-100K per year Key Responsibilities:* Assessments * Teaching * Office and field travel * Case management * Other duties related to job role Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements: * Must be legally eligible to work in California * Bachelor’s degree in special education from an institution of higher learning accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation- Master's Preferred * BCLAD Certification, preferred but not required * Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and with advance knowledge of Power Point. * Mild/Moderate * Valid Driver's License *Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, geography, and other job-related reasons.
