We're partnering with a well established and mission driven nonprofit that represents a network of smaller communities across North America and societies in need globally. Some of their successes include programmatic work focusing on schools and cultural centers, housing for the elderly and social programs, and under-the-radar social action work.
  
  

Under the stewardship of a new CFO, the finance and accounting function has made huge strides and this is an exciting time to join and play a key role in the modernization of a finance organization. You'll contribute to system implementations and integrations, various improvement and automation projects, and initiatives to increase the spirit of collaboration across the company.
  
  

Your role will be wide ranging with a view to join the team, show where your strengths are and be given additional responsibilities and ownership accordingly. The CFO's mantra is for his team members to be adding at least one additional bullet to their resumes every six months via new experience gained!
  
  

About you:  

* 2+ years of accounting/audit experience
* Nonprofit experience required (accounting or audit), ideally hub and spoke model
* Bonus points if you're in active pursuit of your CPA
* Positive, can-do attitude with a solutions-oriented approach to your work
