Financial Analyst 1

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to partner with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence business decisions and drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives.


This is a 40-hour-per-week, 6-month contract (possibility of extensions). Onsite, Berkeley Heights, NJ


This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K offered.


Responsibilities:


* Partners with business units to develop and implement capital strategies that maximize global company investment returns, focusing on operational support and strategic alignment
* Conducts comprehensive financial analyses including profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow, and pricing metrics to drive cross-business initiatives and support critical decision-making processes
* Leads robust forecasting processes at weekly, monthly, and long-term intervals, analyzing business trends and ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives and financial goals
* Ensures strict adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), maintains fiduciary responsibility for accurate financial reporting, and implements strong business control mechanisms
* Applies foundational financial principles and concepts to assignments with limited complexity, demonstrating emerging expertise in financial strategy and analysis

Requirement:


* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
* Strong proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
* Experience with financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems) and a solid understanding of financial principles and accounting standards (GAAP).
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey financial insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams
