Finance Reporting Analyst - Amer Sports Hybrid: New York, NY Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000

We are looking for a highly motivated FP&A Reporting Analyst to join our global Finance team. This pivotal role will own the internal management reporting stack by maintaining, developing, aligning and automating the reporting infrastructure to provide on time and agile insightful perspective as well as supporting the Brands, segments and Corporate financial review processes.
What You'll Do:

The Analyst will be responsible for producing and presenting reporting packages with Corporate, segment, and Brand insights, tailoring reports for various stakeholders, and tracking operational KPIs like Retail Comp Store growth. Collaborating with leaders across our segments and Brands teams, you'll ensure accurate, meaningful, timely reporting. You will also play an active role to drive continuous reporting processes improvement and bring to life a reporting automation roadmap. Specific responsibilities may include:* Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting financial review packages, providing detailed insights into the financial performance of the group, segments, and brands.
* Collaborate within the performance steering finance team, with the brand finance teams, and with the data analytics teams, to drive continuous improvement to the finance review reporting framework and reports, aligning the development across parties to ultimately deliver with excellence and drive continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the definition, alignment and execution of the reporting automation roadmap, collaborating with group, brand finance leaders, data teams.
* Collaborate with brand finance community to facilitate financial reviews to gather relevant data and insights on segment, brand performance.
* Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses in response to specific business inquiries or challenges.
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all reporting activities.
* Continuously improve reporting processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Work closely with finance leadership to align reporting efforts with strategic goals and objectives.


What We're Looking For:

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; and 1-3 years of business analysis experience including solid overall information systems and systems architecture knowledge. Other qualifications include:* Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
* Able to work on multinational, complex organizations.
* Able to translate complex datasets into meaningful and easy to read front-ends.
* Very good analytical and reporting skills.
* Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* High agility, ownership and accountability.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle EPM and SAP Analysis for Office is a plus.
