Job Description
Financial Analyst (Stamford, CT) * Assist the North America Controller with financial analysis, audits, and monthly reports. * Monitor and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Analyze accounting processes to identify areas of opportunities and suggest improvements to ensure operational efficiency. * Execute forecasting activities related to budgeting and general business processes. * Prepare business activity reports, annual budgets, and financial forecasts and reports. * Provide information to and work closely with external tax advisors on tax matters including income tax returns, estimated payments and use tax filings. * Compile monthly financial statements and bank and investor reporting. * Prepare monthly journal entries, using NetSuite, including cost of sales adjustments, amortization of intangibles, and accruals and deferrals, among others. * Perform monthly review and reconciliation of cost of sales expenses in relation to revenue and prepare adjustments as required. * Assist with maintenance and reconciliation of fixed asset system in NetSuite. * Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field and 2 years of related experience as Financial Analyst, Financial Manager or related position preparing financial reports and budgets required.
