 Financial Analyst

About The Position
 The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing financial data, supporting business decision-making, and providing insights that drive our mission of creating a reliable source of secondary materials. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, financial acumen, and a passion for sustainability.
   

  

Key Responsibilities
* Analyze financial data to assess the company’s performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
* Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new business initiatives and partnerships that align with our mission.
* Monitor industry trends and market conditions to inform strategic decisions and ensure competitiveness.
* Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
* Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
* Contribute to sustainability initiatives by assessing the financial impact of resource reuse and waste reduction strategies.


Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
* 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or related roles.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
* Understanding of financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
* Familiarity with financial software and tools, like "Exact Online"
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a start-up environment.
* Familiarity with sustainability practices and the circular economy is a strong advantage.
