Job Description

Are you looking to launch your career in venture capital? Volve Capital is offering a unique opportunity for talented Master students to gain hands-on experience at our fund. If you feel passionate about startups, entrepreneurship, and making an impact in the tech industry, this 6-month working student (
 *2 days p/week* 
 ) program is designed to equip you with the essential skills to succeed in VC.
 



  





Activities: 



* Meet inspiring entrepreneurs and become Pipedrive-master;
* Evaluate and analyse early-stage companies;
* Conduct market & financial research;
* Support portfolio companies on special projects;
* Visit and/or organize events on behalf of Volve Capital.



  





Requirements: 




 We are searching for candidates with the following skills and traits:
 


* Currently enrolled in or recently completed a (Master’s) university program in business, finance, engineering, or a related field;
* Structured thinking, analytical skillset, passion for technology / investing;
* Self-starter, proactive and able to work independently;
* Able to commute to our office in Amsterdam (
 *at least 1 day p/week* 
 );
* Fluency in Dutch (!) and English;
* A previous internship in Venture Capital / Private Equity is
 a huge plus
 .



  





Practical matters: 



* Duration 
 : 6 months
* Working week 
 : ~16-20 hours (~
 *2-2.5 days* 
 ), some flexibility is required during “off-season”
* Start date 
 : Preferably 1 January 2024
* Location 
 : Remote / Our office in Amsterdam (
 *at least 1 day p/week* 
 )
* Renumeration 
 : €750 p/month, some flexibility is required during “off-season”

 : A 30-minute online interview with pre-selected candidates.
2. Second interview 
 : In-depth discussion, including a case, with two team members.
3. Final round 
 : A casual meeting over lunch to ensure a cultural fit.
