Responsibilities: 




 Under the direct supervision of licensed Professional Engineers, Senior Engineers and Project Managers, this candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
 


* Construction management and inspection support associated with water supply, distribution, and planning projects
* Interfacing with contractors during construction
* Client interaction and teamwork with design engineers and other disciplines
* Coordinating permitting efforts with various local regulatory agencies, including local and State health departments and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC)



  





Qualifications and Education: 



* At least a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or closely related discipline
* 3 – 6 years of experience
* Willingness and ability to complete field work. This can involve climbing elevated structures, descending into excavations, entering confined spaces (below ground vaults or above ground storage tanks) and being in the vicinity of heavy construction equipment and vehicles
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD a plus
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Self-motivated and eager to learn
* FE/EIT and OSHA training is a plus, but not required



  





Schedule: 




 Monday through Friday
 



 8 hour shift
 



  





Salary Range: 
 $62,000 – $75,000
