Role Summary
 As an Enterprise Sales Manager at Rivian, you will lead and develop sales strategies focused on building strong relationships with large enterprise clients, including fleet operators and corporate customers. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding Rivian’s market presence within the B2B space, helping companies transition to sustainable electric vehicle (EV) solutions. Your responsibilities will include managing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer experience. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping them integrate Rivian’s EV technologies to meet operational and sustainability goals.
   

  

Responsibilities
* Enterprise Sales Strategy:
+ Design and execute strategic sales plans to grow Rivian’s presence in the enterprise sector, targeting fleet operators, logistics companies, and large-scale corporate accounts.
+ Build and nurture long-term partnerships with enterprise clients, driving adoption of Rivian’s fleet vehicles and services across large-scale operations.

* Account Management:
+ Oversee a portfolio of high-value accounts, developing customized fleet solutions that align with each client's business goals, operational needs, and sustainability targets.
+ Lead complex contract negotiations with senior decision-makers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive long-term success for both Rivian and the client.

* Revenue Generation:
+ Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing relationships, and increasing market share within key industry sectors.
+ Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to refine offerings, align go-to-market strategies, and deliver solutions that cater to enterprise customer needs.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Work closely with internal teams—Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Service—to ensure that enterprise customers receive tailored, integrated solutions that optimize performance and efficiency.
+ Provide actionable feedback to the Product and Engineering teams based on customer insights to drive product innovation and improvements.

* Solution Selling:
+ Take a consultative sales approach, working with customers to understand their pain points and operational challenges, and delivering comprehensive fleet electrification solutions, including vehicle selection , charging infrastructure, and telematics integration.
+ Educate clients on the benefits of Rivian’s technology and how it aligns with their sustainability and operational objectives .

* Market Insights & Competitive Analysis:
+ Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings, using this knowledge to refine sales strategies and position Rivian as the leader in fleet electrification.
+ Monitor regulatory developments and government incentives related to electric vehicle adoption and fleet electrification.

* Reporting & Forecasting:
+ Provide detailed sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and revenue analyses to senior leadership, offering insights into market dynamics and growth opportunities.
+ Track key performance metrics and develop strategies for improving account retention, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.


Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and driving revenue growth.
* Experience within the automotive, electric vehicle, fleet, or technology sectors preferred.
* Demonstrated success in consultative B2B sales, particularly in fleet or large-scale transportation services.
* Strong communication , presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
* Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and pipeline management tools.
* Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Deep understanding of enterprise customer needs and the ability to craft bespoke EV fleet solutions that address operational challenges and sustainability goals.
* Consultative approach to sales, focused on solving customer problems with customized Rivian
* Experience in the electric vehicle industry, particularly in fleet sales or enterprise accounts preferred.
* Familiarity with fleet management software, telematics, and EV charging infrastructure preferred.
* Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals for corporate clients preferred.


Pay Disclosure
 Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants:163,000-188,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
   

  

 Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: 150,000-173,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
   

  

 Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
