InfoMedix is looking for a mid-level Java Developer to join out team.

The role 




 To be successful in this role, you will be diligent, committed and methodical in your approach. You will possess strong Java development skills, including a clear understanding of the Software Development lifecycle and you have experience in test-driven development and object oriented design and programming principals.
 



  





 Reporting to our Development Manager, you will work closely with our Product, Implementation and Service Delivery teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software

* 3+ years of industry experience in Java development.

* Able to work independently and to self-direct your work.
* Willing to be challenged, and able to up skill yourself in unfamiliar business domains.
* Genuinely interested in business problems and focused on using technology to drive business value.

A bit about Your Technical Experience: 



* Working with Java/JEE backend and JavaScript/React frontend, and related technologies and frameworks. Experience in any of the following would be an advantage: Wildfly, JPA/Hibernate, XML/XSL/XPath, SQL/MySQL/MariaDB, etc.
* Writing and consuming REST APIs.
* Working with TDD and unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
* Experience with Linux and scripting languages, such as Bash, Perl, and Python.
* Knowledge of Object Oriented design and programming principles.
* An understanding of Domain Driven Design would be an advantage.
* Experience using Maven and Git.



  





These attributes would be highly regarded: 



* A degree in Computer Science or related technical field; and
* Experience in health solution development.
