Job Title: Nurse Manager - Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Therapy  
Location: San Francisco, CA

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

* Oversee patient care coordination in the BMT and Cellular Therapy program, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
* Supervise and guide Nurse Coordinators and Practice Coordinators to deliver superior patient care.

Procedure and Quality Development

* Establish, update, and implement standard operating procedures for BMT and Cellular Therapy.
* Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, leveraging key indicators to evaluate outcomes.

Team Management

* Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
* Promote a culture of collaboration across interdisciplinary teams, including inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings.

Education and Innovation

* Deliver comprehensive education to patients, families, and staff about treatment protocols and care strategies.
* Drive innovation through active collaboration in clinical trials and groundbreaking research projects.

QualificationsRequired

* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
* Experience:
* 5+ years as a Registered Nurse.
* 3+ years specializing in Hematology, BMT, or Cellular Therapies.
* 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial nursing role in an academic or matrixed environment.
* Skills:
* Strong leadership with a goal-oriented, collaborative approach.
* Expertise in regulatory compliance and clinical workflows.
* Proven ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage competing demands.

Preferred

* BMTCN (ONCC) Certification.
* Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
* Familiarity with TJC and FACT accreditation surveys.
* Experience managing union-represented staff.
