Every Special Child Is seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers for current School Year to join our team in Santa Monica, CA. We have following requirement:

* Full time SPED Teacher requirement for any age group students.

Job Responsibilities:

* You will be responsible for teaching groups of students.
* Meet each student’s learning requirements and build individual lesson plans to their specific needs.
* You will also discuss with parents and support staff to meet students’ progress.
* Adapt learning materials to students’ needs, ability to create IEPs
* Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
* Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
* Prepare students for the transition to the next grade
* Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities
* Collaborate with the support staff
* All other duties related to the program.

Requirements:

* Valid California Mild/Moderate or Mod/Severe Education Specialist License
* 1+ years of working experience as a Special Education Teacher
* Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree with an emphasis in special education preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
