JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN LEAD TEACHER POSITION

We are looking for a Full-Time Junior Kindergarten teacher for the 2024-25 school year in our Junior Kindergarten classroom to begin right away or from January - June 2025.

Fixed term contract until June 2025 (with the opportunity for renewal for future school years as well as opportunities for positions in the summer).

PAY

* *Base pay amount will be dependent on the applicant's years of experience.*

DETAILS

* 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 8:30am - 4:30pm shift (shift times may change)
* extra hours required for events such as Curriculum Night, Parent-Teacher Meetings, PA days, Awards Ceremony, Staff Meetings and more

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma (related to education, arts etc), RECE and/or Montessori
* Certified in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C)
* Have a clear police reference check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
* Minimum 2 years experience within a teaching classroom setting
* Familiar teaching and planning academics and/or program planning is an asset
