As the sovereign provider of combat management systems to the Royal Australian Navy, we are responsible for the development and sustainment of Australia's combat management system capability.


The Opportunity


As the software test engineer you will act as the subject matter expert in software development, taking part in requirements gathering with clients and stakeholders, ensuring product design meets capability needs.


Our Software test engineers focus on designing, reviewing and executing formal test documents, plans and T&E activities. You will bring your background in software development and testing to develop formal documentation, support the design of test plans, execute and implement testing events, produce test artifacts, and provide test support to software development and integration engineering teams.


What you need to succeed:

* Australian Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and retain an NV1/ NV2 clearance
* Min 3 years post graduate experience in full stack/ back end software development
* Experience in:
	+ Writing software test cases.
	+ Defect identification and reporting.
* Tertiary qualifications in Software Development, engineering, computer science or similar
* Min 3 years’ Experience in development using Java, Python or C++ is essential
* Experience in test automation tools and frameworks, such as RobotFwk.
* Experience in tools such as Doors., and Test Management tools, such as Zephyr or ALM is desirable
* Experience in: Any of the following tools/technologies/standards is desirable,
	+ Dockers, Jenkins, DDS, Git, Clear case.
	+ Linux.
	+ Test plans and test cycles.
	+ A working knowledge of a test certification standard such as ISTQB.
