### Your role


As Junior Project Engineer Shops you will play a key role in delivering top-quality retail buildings for our charging stations across existing and emerging markets. You will collaborate closely with our inhouse architects and construction managers as well as external engineering advisors and suppliers to develop, improve and optimize the buildings housing the Fastned Retail concepts.

### Key Responsibilities

* Analyze and compare technical solutions for Fastned shops, with a primary focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including qualitative calculations.
* Advance innovative building technologies in collaboration with external partners as well as new and existing suppliers.
* Work within suppliers’ BIM models to identify and address potential challenges.
* Answer technical queries of projects in execution, review calculations, and approve concepts, components, and drawings.
* Serve as point of contact for internal teams and external partners, including those involved in the supply and manufacturing of building components.

### Who we are looking for

* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field, with a strong interest in MEP;
* Previous work experience desired, preferably in an engineering office;
* Excellent organizational skills and a high level of initiative;
* Systematic and solution-oriented thinking, a strong curiosity, and attention to detail;
* Willingness to travel, expected once a month on average;
* Fluent English, both spoken and written. Dutch and/or German is a plus.
