Job Description
An electric utility client is looking for a Financial Analyst who will be tasked to monitor and track costs and be responsible for budget variance analysis. Location: Rosemead, CA 91770 (Hybrid) Position: Financial Analyst Pay Rate : $40/hr. on W2 Duration : 9 months or longer Schedule: M-F, 8-5 \*\*\*Hybrid: In office Monday & Tuesday\*\*\* SCOPE OF PROJECT: * Performance tracking and budget analysis. TEAM STRUCTURE: * 5 people team RESPONSIBILITIES: * Monitoring and tracking of costs * Budget variance analysis * Identifying balancing/Memo/Base account costs * Cost tracking between different cost recovery mechanisms * Developing 2025 budgets * Responding to regulatory data requests * Supporting regulatory filings * Supporting audits, internal and external * Supporting financial performance tracking QUALIFICATIONS: * A Bachelor's degree is required. * 3 to 5 years of related experience * Knowledge of ERP Systems * Mastery of Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint. Need experience on pivot tables and VLOOKUP function on resume. * Financial planning and analysis experience * Excellent communication skills DESIRED SKILLS: * Knowledge of SAP System, as implemented at the company * Knowledge of the company's financial model * Knowledge of PowerBI tool usage and report development * Proficient in BEX/AFE About our client : *Our client is one of the largest electric utilities and a longtime leader in renewable energy and energy efficiency in the United States providing electricity for much of Southern California.* About APR: Since 1980 APR Consulting, Inc. has provided professional recruiting and contingent workforce solutions to a diverse mix of clients, industries, and skill sets nationwide.
