RMA is a consulting firm provides a of quality service that offers professional services in the southwestern United States in the fields of geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, construction materials engineering and testing. We have a full-time opportunity for an experienced Construction Materials Project Manager in our Rancho Cucamonga office. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to help lead our great company.  

  

Responsibilities* Work with project designers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed.
* Perform routine - to complex inspections and testing of construction materials in the field.
* Prepare daily reports on observation activities.
* Review observation and test data for accuracy and completeness
* Assist with proposal scoping and preparation.
* Track project budgets and prepare invoicing.
* Assist with training, supervision, and mentoring of junior staff as needed.

Education, Experience and Skills* 2+ years of construction materials testing and observation experience, required.
* Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications, required.
* Experience with performing IBC Special Inspections preferred.
* Experience ranging from small to large complex construction and/or heavy highway projects, preferred.
* High school diploma or equivalent, required.
* 4-year Civil Engineering degree, preferred
* A valid driver's license and a clean driving history, required.
* EIT or PE level accreditation a bonus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail required.
* Strong organization and planning skills required.
* Comfortable with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive, required.

Minimum Certifications Preferred:* ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician
* One ICC Certification
