Job Description
Skills: Auto cad or solid works /PRO-E, Exposure on Jigs & Fixtures and knowledge of tool materials., TPS, Kaizen, TPM, JIT, SMT Programing, Requirements Staff Requirements for PE - Assembly Position : Engineer Production Engineering Department : P E D Assembly Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical/BE in Mechanical / Diploma in NTTF or GTTC Experience : 2 - 6 year experience in PED or Process Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer in Automotive Industry. Required Skills * Should be able to read & understand the drawings.(Specially PCB drawings) * Experience in mechanical software like AutoCAD or Solid Works/PRO-E. * Exposure on Jigs & Fixtures and knowledge of tool materials. * Preparation of mandatory documents like Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Process capability, Control Plan, formats, checklists etc. * Carrying out time study, method/motion study, and capacity & capability study to eliminate waste and better utilize men, machines and materials. * Development and management of new suppliers for tools, equipment & new manufacturing processes. * Continuous effort in improving quality, cost, delivery and safety. * Knowledge of Japanese concepts like TPS, Kaizen, Poka-yoke, Kanban, Takt Time, TPM, JIT, Process Mapping & Value Stream Mapping, PDCA Cycle, QCC Activities, PPAP, APQP, SPC & 7 QC Tools. * Analyzing the problems and taking CA & PA by using problem solving techniques. * Knowledge of `5`S and its implementation, safety improvements and audits. * Knowledge of ISO 9000 / TS 16949 & its implementation. * Knowledge of electrical and electronics parts, pneumatics & hydraulics are added advantage. * Knowledge of SMT Machine (Panasonic, Fujji) * SMT programming skills * AOI Programming and fine-tuning skills * PCB CP Drawing reading and new program creation in SMT Machine Other Skills * Self-driven with high commitments, Interpersonal & Communication Skills. * Decision-making and Leadership qualities. * Adaptability to work with new environments. * Learning new Technologies in new avenues and working in it. * Continuous up-dating of knowledge in the field of technology. * Ability to work in multiple projects, Calm cool nature to cope up with job stress.
