 We are looking for a talented Senior Product Engineer to facilitate the design and manufacturing of our current and next line of exciting products. As a Senior Product Engineer, you will be working closely with the Design and Cross Functional Teams to create industry-relevant products that meet company specifications.
   

  

Job Summary: 
 This position will provide design and parts support for product development projects in the field of HVAC and Refrigeration products for Trane Technologies.
   

  

Responsibilities
* Support Design Engineering projects independently. Collaborate with other design and product engineers working on those projects.
* Strong focus on sheet metal part design, Plastics part design. Prepare layouts and concept designs, sketches and detailed drawings as required.
* Prepare/maintenance of Engineering documentation, bill of material and change notices.
* Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams and project partners.
* Provides design support for current production parts and products.
* Create and develop DFMEA and DVPN&R.
* Feasibility study on VAVE projects.
* Commit to deliver 100% QDC.


Qualifications
* Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 1-3 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering and Parts Management.


Key Competencies
* Hands on experience in Creo & Wind-chill
* Hands on experience in NPD / VAVE / Sustenance projects.
* Strong knowledge on parts classification/management, sheet metal and plastic part design and manufacturing processes.
* Good knowledge and application of Tolerance stack up and analysis.
* Knowledge on experience in DFMEA and DVPN&R is preferred.
* Good knowledge on Bill of Materials.
* HVAC/Refrigeration domain experience is preferred.
* Good Oral and Written communication skills.
* Must be able to adjust changing demands, priorities and objectives.
* Good attention to detail and problem solving capabilities of manufacturing and field issues.
* Project management skills.
