CK QLS are recruiting for a Quality Manager – External Suppliers & Contract Manufacturers to be based in Zurich, Switzerland for an 18 month Contract role
 



  





About the Role: 




 We are seeking a highly skilled
 Quality Manager 
 to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work closely with external suppliers and contract manufacturers, overseeing quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance are maintained. You will be pivotal in managing the quality oversight of our external partners and driving continuous performance improvement initiatives.
 



Responsibilities: 



* Manage and oversee the quality assurance activities of external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including GMP, throughout the supply chain.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing quality performance, reducing risks, and improving efficiencies.
* Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality management practices.
* Support digital transformation efforts by leveraging data analytics and automation to improve quality and operational performance.
* Review and approve external supplier quality documentation, including contracts, batch records, and validation protocols.
* Investigate and manage quality complaints, deviations, and corrective actions.
* Conduct periodic quality audits and inspections of external suppliers and contract manufacturers.



Required Skills and Experience: 



* Several years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Oversight, or Regulatory Compliance, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and collaborate across functional teams.
* Proven ability to identify and drive continuous improvement within quality management processes.
* A solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards applicable to the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
* Strong analytical mindset and interest in digital transformation, with a focus on using data analytics and automation for quality improvement.



Desired Skills: 



* Previous experience with contract manufacturers and external suppliers is highly desirable.
* A passion for driving change through innovative approaches to quality assurance and process improvement.
