Bee Bee One B.V. develops the technical core for large-scale energy storage systems. These systems are unique, because they are based on clean technology.

The large-scale storage of energy is a new phenomenon and we are a young and dynamic company. The components of our systems and their design are completely redeveloped from scratch through to the end product, and are designed to meet the demands and wishes of end users. Because we are a growing company and we are working with new technology, every day brings new challenges. We are now looking for an energetic and passionate Mechanical Engineer who feels totally at home in this environment. Our ideal candidate already has a few years of relevant experience under their belt and is looking for a major challenge.

Responsibilities

· Oversee or supervise selection, installation and commissioning of turbo machinery and other associated mechanical components in utility scale installations

· Prepare the technical project documentation in compliance with the project requirements to be used as specs for purchasing machines

· Review project estimates for different components and installation

· When the entire scope is prepared and assessed, taking charge of the selected tasks until final project handover

· Supervise FAT and SAT

· Follow the day to day operations during the execution of the works and provide help in case of technical problems

· Checking document control registers in order to be sure that work instructions, working methods and drawings have been rightly issued and executed

· Perform evaluations and analyses on the performance of the execution in comparison between estimated and actual status

· Communicate with different stakeholders and project lead on a regular basis to keep them informed

· Prepare and deliver status reports according to project requirements with precise information

Your profile

· Formal qualifications in Mechanical engineering or in relevant field

· At least 5 years of experience in the field of reciprocating or rotating machinery (compressor/ turbine/ pump/ genset etc.)

· In depth practical knowledge about standards, safety regulations and best practices for installing complex mechanical systems (e.g. power stations, industrial machineries)

· Ability to oversee FAT and SAT of different mechanical components

· Proven experience in installation and commissioning of large mechanical components/ industrial processes is a must

· Experience as project engineer or field engineer in large scale projects

· Excellent communication in English and in Dutch

· You enjoy your current work, but you would prefer to work in an environment where you can step up and deliver more
