Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to work within the Vacaville unified school district. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, ensuring they receive a high-quality education tailored to their individual needs. What You’ll Do: * Develop and implement personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). * Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and adjust curriculum to suit individual learning styles. * Monitor student progress and modify teaching plans as needed. * Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of the classroom. * Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to cultivate an inclusive classroom environment. What You Bring: * Bachelor's or higher degree in Special Education or a related field. * Valid California teaching credential or eligibility for certification in Special Education. * Early Childhood Education Certification is a plus. * Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting. * Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. * Compassion, empathy, and dedication to meeting the unique needs of students with special needs.
