Job Responsibilities
Business Planning
* Take ownership of the monthly best estimates process for all categories: work closely with local/HQ merchandising, general management and central business planning team
* Justify and document all updates to sales plan, aligning central team and accepting challenge on this shared exercise
* Communicate and validate sales plans with local teams, to ensure commitment to the OTB.
* Be a strong business partner to the merchandising and central planning teams during each buying session, developing and challenging the final sales plan for each season
* Utilize the full capacity of the Anaplan tool to build accurate monthly forecasts of sales at SKU level, ensuring consistency with best estimate. Establish a monthly continuous improvement process to increase forecast accuracy.
* Communicate opportunities and risks related to stock projections to both local and central teams


Distribution Planning
* Ensure that Target Stock tool for distribution planning and autoreplenishment are effectively implemented on all activities
* Fine-tune Target Stock and autoreplenishment processes and settings to optimize current stock availability and coverage, within the region, and respecting the worldwide vision
* Adapt permanent items distribution to several scenarios: phase in, phase out, partial or strong shortage, holiday season, omni strategy…
* Monitor adequate stock level in region throughout the season according to sales plan, paying close attention to seasonal launches from set up proposal to store allocation
* Proactively rebalance stock in case of shortages or lower remaining stock and size consolidation.
* Challenge both central and local teams to ensure the correct balance of stock level and commercial opportunity.
* Uphold our one-stock/omnichannel vision: mutualized stock in regional warehouse for all channels and define allocation strategy accordingly for retail vs digital
* Monitor retail KPIs and share with teams in partnership with Retail Operations
* Partner with Central Logistics and Sales Admin teams to ensure timely deliveries to stores for autorep and seasonal orders
* Monitor longtail and review assortment efficiency with Merchandising team to minimize longtail in stores and ensure stock capacity is not saturated in stores


Business Partnering
* Work in a commercial and strategic way with both local and central teams to ensure the best outcomes for the business – current and future
* Act as a business partner for the regional merchandising team by reviewing and challenging their inputs and proactively proposing strategies further to support the business
* Drive and participate on projects locally with a supply chain input or lead, such as stock rebalancing, store openings, or omnichannel strategies
* Key point of contact for store managers and retail directors to maximize sales with beterstock efficiency


Profile
 Education: Degree level Experience: 10 years of sales planning and distribution experience in the fashion / related industry Competencies: Strong leadership skills with an experience of building and rolling out a vision Strong analytical skills Good communication skills with a proven track-record of interfacing locally and centrally A natural ability to take responsibility for clear and challenging decisions Tools savvy: Anaplan, Excel, Power BI Passionate, self-motivated and proactive Good team player Languages: Fluent in English and French is a plus
