We are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated, and motivated Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Description:  
As the Manager of our French grocery store, you will play a key role in overseeing the overall operations and ensuring that every aspect of the store runs efficiently. Your main mission will be to ensure the store's success by adhering to processes, managing a small but dynamic team, handling orders, and delivering top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

* Team Management: Lead, motivate, and support a small team of employees, ensuring they follow procedures and are consistently delivering excellent service. Conduct staff training and performance reviews.
* Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met, handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
* Ordering & Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and maintain stock, ensuring that the store has a well-balanced range of products. Conduct regular stock checks and manage supplier relationships.
* Process & Store Operations: Adhere to and enforce operational procedures, ensuring the store runs smoothly. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and product presentation to the highest standards.
* Sales & Financial Management: Oversee sales targets, implement promotional strategies, and ensure profitability. Manage cash handling, budgeting, and other administrative tasks.
* Compliance: Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations, as well as other local regulations related to retail and food handling.

Requirements:

* At least 2 years of proven experience as a manager or assistant manager in a small grocery market.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
* Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for providing a great shopping experience.
* Ability to manage inventory, orders, and supplier relationships.
* Knowledge of French products and culture is a plus, but not mandatory.
* Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
* Source new products that clients are looking for or that are popular in San Francisco.
* Constantly interact with clients to offer add-on sales.
* Control, discount & remove expired items.
* Work on visual merchandising.
* Report weekly to the ownership.
* Fluency in English is required.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
