What we’re looking for:



We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer with solid architectural skills and a gravitation towards cloud infrastructure-as-code engineering. You enjoy working in a team on projects and have relevant consulting and implementation skills.



You will actively accompany and support our customers on their AWS journey while driving our internal development processes to the next maturity level.


Day to day:


* Plan, design, and implement (hands-on) AWS software projects (customer consulting, PoCs incl. implementation and migrations and Day2 operation)
* Architecture, design and implementation incl. hands-on development of cloud infrastructures for modern applications
* Develop IaC on AWS (CloudFormation, Terraform & CICD infrastructure) leveraging modern security tooling
* Containerize applications and build container solutions for our clients
* Develop toolings and frameworks around AWS development processes
* Write automation scripts and auto-scaling mechanisms
* Develop modern applications based on AWS Serverless & container environments
* Work in a team but also independently on projects
* Research and evaluate new technologies that will improve the quality of our products
* Proactively contribute to a team culture that values quality, robustness, and knowledge sharing

Need to have:


* Several years of experience in software development and associated tooling and processes (e.g., automated testing, SAST tooling)
* A deep curiosity about software engineering and development processes with a never ending thirst for knowledge and improvement
* Very good knowledge in Python, node.js
* A good sense of humor combined with empathy, interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team
* Minimum one AWS associate-level certification
* Solid DevSecOps background, familiarity with cloud system architectures (load balancing, clustering on web and database server level, cloud infrastructures, security)
* Solid practical experience in automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery & deployment (SCM processes, CICD tools, deployment and configuration management tools such as Cloudformation, Terraform or Ansible)
* Experience in working with and implementing of PaaS technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
* A keen eye for detail and quality, which should be reflected in your outputs
* You will bring the joy and enthusiasm to co-create the AWS journey with our customers.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field


Nice to have:


* AWS certifications (Pro Level)
* You are familiar with database design and REST interfaces.
* Experience developing cloud native and Serverless systems on AWS
* Experience writing and testing production-grade infrastructure software
* Evidence of contribution to a personal or open source project

* You need to be eligible to live and work in Switzerland.
* Fluent German and English skills are required.
