BrightStar Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. This opportunity is GREAT for those who love working in the Acute Care setting but don’t prefer the entanglement of working in a hospital setting! The ideal candidate will possess Acute Care experience with an emphasis on peripheral access. The candidate must be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. The goal is to promote patients’ well-being by providing high-quality nursing care in their home.

We're seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to be part of our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a Home Care RN, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives while enjoying the flexibility of scheduling options tailored to your lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver hospital-level care to patients at their homes, including IV push/infusions, assessments, wound care, blood draws, and other treatments.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to monitor, treat, and rehabilitate patients.
* Shift Hours: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Position Requirements:

* Current and unrestricted CA RN license.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
* Proficient in gaining IV access and completing venipuncture lab draws.
* Covid 19 Vaccinated.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
* Reliable transportation and auto insurance, as this is a driving position with multiple locations.
* Clean background and criminal record.
* Provide accurate and timely documentation
* Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
* Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
* Familiar with Joint Commission Accreditation
* Computer Proficient
* Quality Assurance experience

Note: Coverage is needed 7 days a week, with most visits occurring in the morning and late afternoon/evening. Availability during evenings & weekends is essential.
