Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Telemetry RN to monitor and care for patients in need of continuous cardiac observation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing, providing ongoing assessments and ensuring prompt intervention when patients experience changes in their condition. As a Telemetry RN, you will work closely with physicians, other nursing staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and high-quality care. Duties * Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms continuously, identifying and responding to any changes or abnormalities. * Administer medications as prescribed and assess their effects on patients’ conditions. * Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans. * Communicate with patients and their families about treatments, recovery expectations, and necessary lifestyle changes. * Provide education and emotional support to patients and families about their conditions and care plans. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Meditech. * Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines. * Respond quickly and effectively to cardiac emergencies, using advanced assessment and nursing skills. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and nursing practices. Experience * Minimum 2 years of experience as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. * Experience with cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, and medication administration is required. * Familiarity with various telemetry monitoring equipment and cardiac care protocols. Requirements * Active CA RN State License. * BLS and ACLS certifications required. * Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Experience using electronic health records (EHR) and telemetry monitoring systems.
