Job Description
Role: Tax Senior Location: Walnut Creek, CA/Onsite Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent Job Summary In this role, you will prepare clients’ tax filings and advise them on strategies to maximize savings and make sound financial decisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of tax laws and best practices in tax preparation. Responsibilities · Prepare federal and state income tax returns in an accurate and timely manner · Analyze income statements, previous tax returns, and other financial records to determine taxable income · Provide sound advice to clients on minimizing their tax obligations · Communicate with tax authorities when necessary Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field · Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) · 4+ years’ experience as a Tax Professional · Knowledge of federal and state tax laws · Skilled in Microsoft Excel and accounting software · Excellent mathematical and analytical skills · Strong verbal and written communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Application Question(s): * Are you a US Citizen? * Are you a Green Card Holder? * What is your email address/email ID? * What is your Current Location?
