Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Accountant Location : Foster City California 94404 Duration: 03+ months Est. Pay Range: $65-70/hr on W2 Work Type: Onsite Job Description * This person is responsible for activities related to the general ledger, month-end close, and annual financial audit. * The successful candidate will be assertive, dedicated, trustworthy, detail oriented and customer focused with excellent communication skills. * They must be able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. * This is a job for someone willing to take full ownership of their workload and interact with all levels of employees throughout the organization. Responsibilities * Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis * Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information weekly * Prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance * Assist team with annual audit and tax filings * Conduct regular general ledger maintenance * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to insure accuracy in accruals * Continuously assess and improve accounting systems and processes Qualifications * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred * 5+ years of relevant work experience * Possess a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls processes * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Positive attitude, team player and ability to quickly adapt to changes * Excellent Excel skills Bonus Qualifications * Big four and/or public company accounting experience * SAP, Ariba, Oracle Employee Benefits : At LanceSoft, full time regular employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week or more are entitled to the following benefits: * Four options of medical Insurance * Dental and Vision Insurance * 401k Contributions * Critical Illness Insurance * Voluntary Permanent Life Insurance * Accident Insurance * Other Employee Perks EEO Employer LanceSoft is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an equal opportunity employer.
