Job Purpose 




 Provide technical/engineering support to responsible customer accounts. Work together with sales organization to increase company’s sales and profits by securing new projects with existing and new customers. Understand customer needs and provide best technical solution in conformance with Donaldson technical standard, practices and consultation with global engineering organization and manufacturing plants. Release new parts drawing, document the engineering changes, Carry out product cost studies with plant and vendors, Prototype preparation and validation. Promote Donaldson Products & Technology by technical presentations to customers and trade shows.
 



  





Key Accountabilities 



* Meet or Beat Annual Goals: Stive to meet or exceed your annual goals in conjunction with department and company goals.
* Engineering Lead: Be the engineering lead for internal new product release process (APD) & Project leader for engineering changes to existing products (CQP).
* Product Design: To ensure design reliability by conducting DFMEA, DVP&R & DRR (Design Readiness Review).
* On-Time Project Execution: Collaborate with other functions like Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing/Procurement, Quality departments for smooth program execution.
* Information Organization: Ensure necessary information sharing among the internal stakeholders and external partners like customer and vendors. Keep up to date project documentation for future refence and knowledge sharing.



  





Key Qualifications & Requirements 




  





Education Qualification: 




 Engineering Bachelor’s University Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred) or equivalent Professional Certificate
 



  





Technical Competence & Skills: 




 • Fluid Mechanics, Air/Liquid Filtration Technology, Hydraulics
 



 • Over 3 years experiences working on engineering, design or development in automotive industry will be preferable.
 



 • Over 3 years experiences of at engineering, laboratory, or operation, be also preferable.
 



 • Knowledge and/or working experience PLM, CAD, CAE, CFD tools.
 



 • Understanding and/or exposure to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, APQP guidelines.

Relevant Experience: 




 • Presentation skills
 



 • Conversant with Windows, Microsoft office, Virtual meeting tool like Webex/Zoom/Teams etc.

 • English: Fluent – Written and spoken communication with Americas, APAC and EMEA is required.
 



 • Japanese: Native – Day to day communication, Business e-mail, Telephone.
