Join Stellar, as we are building the first 360 degree trust platform and embedded insurance product for the short-term rental industry.
   

  

 Founded by serial entrepreneur and investor Philipp Reuter (Co-Founder of STR management software Smoobu) and Milan Plogsties (ex Project Leader at BCG and MD at HomeToGo), we are solving one of the most pressing problems in the industry: building trust between guests and hosts. With over 1 billion nights booked in short-term rentals in the EU alone, the opportunity is huge and we have everything we need to succeed: financial backing from some of the most experienced founders & investors in travel tech and the short-term rental industry, a great team and a number of pilot customers.
   

  

 Having made significant progress in developing the product with our pilot customers and freelance partners, we are now looking to make our first developer hire. Join us on this exciting journey to transform the vacation rental industry!
   

  

 Tasks
   

  

* Lead the development of our trust platform from the ground up, using both custom code and no-/low-code solutions where appropriate. Our main application currently runs on FlutterFlow and Firebase.
* Develop and maintain API connections to enable communication between our platform and third-party property management tools
* Collaborate with the founding team to iterate on the product vision and deliver a world-class user experience
* Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the platform
* Guide the technical strategy, incorporating both low-code tools and traditional coding practices


Requirements
* First experience as a software engineer in a startup or fast-growing company, ideally with experience or strong interest in product management and/or design
* Expertise in no-code/low-code platforms, ideally FlutterFlow and Firebase and their integration with custom development
* Passionate entrepreneur-at-heart who is comfortable wearing many hats and can adapt to the fast-paced, ever-changing environment of an early-stage startup.
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Proficiency with full-stack development and cloud infrastructure is a plus
* Prior experience with trust, embedded insurance, or security platforms is a plus
