Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee healthcare construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects in the healthcare sector. Key Responsibilities: * Project Planning and Management: * Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management strategies. * Oversee all phases of healthcare construction projects, from pre-construction to project closeout. * Ensure projects adhere to all plans, specifications, and industry standards, with a focus on healthcare facility requirements. * Leadership and Team Management: * Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including project managers, site supervisors, and support staff. * Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. * Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities. * Client and Stakeholder Communication: * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns. * Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project alignment and compliance. * Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders. * Budget and Financial Management: * Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency. * Monitor and report on project financial performance, identifying and addressing variances. * Negotiate contracts, change orders, and other financial agreements. * Quality and Safety Assurance: * Implement and enforce quality control and safety procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with safety regulations. * Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and resolve issues. * Ensure all projects meet regulatory and company standards, particularly those pertaining to healthcare facilities. * Problem Solving and Decision Making: * Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. * Make informed decisions to resolve conflicts and challenges. * Implement innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale healthcare projects. * PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred. * Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and technologies specific to healthcare facilities. * Proven leadership and team management skills. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera). * Strong financial acumen and budget management experience. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * In-depth knowledge of healthcare construction codes, standards, and regulations.
