Our world-class Labor and Delivery is where pregnant moms receive excellent maternal-fetal care to monitor, labor and deliver their babies. Our labor and delivery unit delivers over 6,700 babies per year. In our dynamic Perinatal Program, we provide excellent patient and family-centered care to high-risk and low-risk patients. As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery: * Responsible and accountable for the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. * Make clinical judgments and carry out related nursing intervention without supervision. * Apply clinical knowledge regarding standard pattern of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. * Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegation of tasks and documentation. * Responsible for care for the patient and delivery team. * Provide a dedication to customer service * Ability to meet the needs and expectation of patients and health care colleagues #Jobs-LinkedIn #Jobs-Indeed Qualifications ------------------ Educational Requirements: * Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN or higher preferred. License/Certification/Registration Requirements: * Current California State RN License required * ACLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross and NRP Certification * For RN III: Specialty Certification (external applicants may obtain within one year of hire) Experience: * Minimum 3 years recent acute RN experience in Labor and Delivery required.
