Currently, mainly four of the company's products have been introduced to customers in various industries, including e-commerce, and the total number of customers has exceeded 500.

Natural Language Processing and recommendation technologies are at the core of the company's products, and machine learning technologies are used in all aspects of our business to improve the user experience, including analysis of the profiles of 'its users, optimal matching and quick and accurate searches for people, etc. We are always in search of a deeper understanding of human beings, and we use these technologies to develop functions and accumulate data on our data circulation. The company is looking for someone who is looking for a deeper understanding of people, and who can develop functions using the accumulated data, as well as conceptualize and validate the data ecosystem.
 



  





 ■About the position
 



 The company is currently being introduced to customers in a variety of industries and cultures, and it is necessary to develop functions that enable users to collaborate and self-actualize based on an accurate understanding of the characteristics of users with diverse backgrounds. To this end, we believe it is important to pursue a deep human understanding and incorporate the data generated by users themselves into functions provided to users through machine learning technology and other means.
 



  





 The ML Engineer will be responsible for developing machine learning-based functions using user data accumulated on the company on a daily basis, as well as exploring the realization of a data ecosystem (a cycle of data utilization) to maximize the utilization of data on the company.
 



  





 Work description
 



 Build and implement model for understanding human behavior from text information (profile, communication logs, etc…)
 



 Develop and improve search and recommendation features
 



 Development of functions using other data
 



 Data collection through crawling, etc.
 



 Design and implementation of annotations
 



 Understanding and validation of advanced machine learning techniques

 ■Minimum qualifications
 



 3 years+ experience as a machine learning engineer or similar role
 



 Strong interest in using data and machine learning techniques to explore how people and organizations are/should be
 



 Basic knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing and information retrieval
 



 Experienced in data analysis and programming in Python
 



 Has basic knowledge of cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure)
 



 Understands Japanese (data will be in Japanese)
 



 Understands English (some data will be of English-speaking users, communication with English-speaking members in Beatrust will occur)
 



 Experience in developing code to put AI into service
 



  





 ■Preferred qualifications
 



 Interest in and knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques
 



 Submit papers to data science or social science conferences
 



 Familiar with DBs (MySQL/PostgreSQL/BigQuery)
 



 Knowledgeable of statistics and hypothesis testing
 



 Experience in analyzing data related to human behavior and attributes
 



 Experience building data analysis and machine learning pipelines
 



 Experience publishing on topics such as machine learning, natural language processing, recommendations, search technology, etc.
 



 Experience in leading and managing development team
 



 Contribution to renowned open source projects
