Overview  
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, managing shifts, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Your expertise in hospitality and food service will help us provide exceptional dining experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities

* Supervise kitchen staff and assist with training new team members to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
* Manage daily shift operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
* Help develop menus that meet dietary requirements while also considering customer preferences.
* Monitor food handling practices to ensure adherence to health regulations and safety protocols.
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate meal service and address any dietary concerns from clients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
* Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking usage.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
* Proven ability to manage teams effectively, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with staff and clients.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $31.33 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 60 per week
