A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team. The primary responsibility for the Accounts Payables Associate will be to support activities in Finance and Accounting. This position reports directly to the Controller. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payables Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all incoming invoices, ensuring accurate general ledger account coding, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong mathematical skills, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to analyze accounts effectively.
 



  





Responsibilities: 



* Gather, review and prepare invoices with 3 way-matching process of vendor purchase orders.
* Code and match invoices for general expenses.
* Enter invoices into ERP system.
* Review aging weekly and pay vendors.
* Pay vendors via check, credit card and ACH.
* Prepare Positive Pay file for bank.
* Maintain and reconcile company credit cards.
* Respond timely to vendor inquiries.
* Verifies accounts by reconciling vendor statements against AP Aging monthly



  





Qualifications: 



* Degree in Accounting or Business related major
* Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payables experience
* Three way matching is a must in Payables
* Manufacturing industry experience preferred
* Knowledge of General Accounting a MUST
